Chiellini was a Livorno youth product, we just co-owned 'em for a while, I believe.

Good to see the Roma Boys doin well (all hail The LitM etc.). Now lets just hope none of them get fuckin injured.

Hello lads!

I just came back from Tirana. It was hell of a trip, and I can tell you this the stadium had more Milan fans. Tickets went up to 100 euros, but it was worth every penny of it.

Ill send you the pictures soon as i get a comfort back here.

P.S. It was great to see Nesta back... and who the fuck were some young players? I didnt know them...

I think he should make it a must to start with a 442 formation,because 433 formation in italy especially the system is not going to work.
Aldough when he plays Quaresma & Mancini he practically playing 442 not 433 but a little on the offensive side,at least that's how I see it.

I agree with the decision. If we had signed a quality CB to play with Chiellini, we could have afforded to have a more forward thinking central midfield pairing and Alonso would have been an extremely good option.

If raneri wanted to protect our defense we could've easily played alonso in front of sissoko and zanetti/marchisio. It's not like alonso is an attacking midfielder, he does track back at Liverfekkin'wankscum and help out defensively. But instead, we have poulsen and sissoko "covering" our defense and neither of them can hang onto the ball or make a simple pass. In a way they're just creating more work for our defense by turning the ball over.

The best defense is a good offense. If we hang onto the ball the other team can't score. It's as simple as that.

So true we just throw away possession and it is so hard to watch.

I don't rate Benitez any higher than Ranieri.What's the highest the guy has finished in the league?
In my opinion Prandelli is the best Italian manager after Lippi, bit as Morra already said, It will be hard to get him to leave Fiorentina. We should stick with Ranieri at least until the end of the season, and evaluate our options from there. In all seriousness though the best available option at the moment is Roberto Mancini, who none of us want to see. The one thing I will give Minchio is that he knows how to build a consistent squad, or at least in the end it seemed he had. That being said I still have faith in Ranieri. There have been way too many injuries and interruptions this season, with all the international breaks and key players like Buffon, Cammo, Trez, etc.... This team needs time to settle down and focus.

Serie A to breakaway - Italian top-flight to follow Premier League example

Italy's top-flight is set to follow the example of the Premier League in England by breaking away from the other divisions.

Serie A and Serie B clubs have never seen eye to eye on money when it comes to deciding television rights.

The two divisions make up the Italian League and the chairmen of each club have been meeting this week to try and broker a deal.

But Serie B is set to reject an offer of nearly �40million for television rights from their Serie A counterparts; a decision that is set to hasten the split.

Serie A clubs have seen how profitable a breakaway can be, with the Premier League now the most lucrative domestic competition in the world.

"The day has arrived. The league is 20 years behind and we cannot lose any more time," the president of Serie A's Cagliari Massimo Cellino was quoted as saying in Tuesday's Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Serie A is separating from B."
